Happy Wednesday pretties! I have to say, its been a rough week for some of my favorite people in the whole world. I won't go in to it, but there have been the losses of some beloved pets and some health scares. Lots of praying going on in our home these days. But thats why I have a blog, by-golly. Because on this little blog of mine, I don't have to think about the hard stuff, and can pretend I live in a world full of limitless shopping budgets and calorie free ice cream. Yay for unreality sometimes. On that note, here are some pretties I am craving for June.

Sorbet Summer

Its already heating up thankyouJesus. So psyched for long summer days, farmer's market veggies, margaritas on a good patio and lots of fun trips with the hubs. And I am totally obsessed with sorbet colors for all my summer weekend wear. Can't wait to throw on that yummy lemon striped t-shirt, boyfriend shorts, natural sandals and top it all off with a cute fedora. Perfect Summer Uniform.

Hello Random

Hi Pretties! Happy Pre-Friday!

I warn you, this post is a big pile of random. But I wanted to share, so bear with me. So, I get a text from husband yesterday that he got me a treat. You should know that sometimes he thinks buying me cereal at the grocery store is a treat. Its not. Its just groceries. But don't tell husband- it'll make him sad.

Anywho, when I get home he makes me run around the house doing a present scavenger hunt. He said he would tell me when I'd found all of them. Long story short, after about a half an hour I held in my hands my fave Chobani Greek yogurt (a bulk pack from Costco!), a Where the Wild Things Are T-shirt and one of my favorite things on the planet-Nutella. That man knows me so well.

So after that, we are supposed to run 4 miles to get back on our training schedule. Did we? Um, no. Instead we went to Heaven on earth (ie: Whiskey Cake in Plano) and pigged out on homemade fries, deviled eggs with smoked salmon and capers, the OMG burger and the cheesy chicken melt. Yum.

Currently Craving: Nude Heels with Fun Details

Good morning lovelies! I have finally recovered from all of my running soreness, caught up on all my work, freelance, and sleep. I feel like a new woman. A new woman in need of some gorgeous, super high, nude heels. I am in love with all of the gorgeous details on these pretties-from hints of black, eyelet cutout detailing, pops of crimson, patent and ankle straps. Yes, those Zara ankle strap wedges are haunting my dreams right now. Drool. Don't you think I need an "I finished my half marathon and am training for another one" present to myself? Yeah. Me too. (Husband will most likely disagree considering the beating I put on the bank account at LOFT the other day. But it was 30% off EVERYTHING plus I had $100 off in gift cards...can you blame me? I love that you guys are on my side.)
