Ring a Ding-Ding (& a Little Tucker...)

Happy Friday! I am so ready for the weekend (even though Geoff and I are taking an 8-hour marriage prep class-yikes! ;) Actually, everything is fun with G, so I'm even looking forward to it. Speaking of marriage, the wedding is only 36 days away!! Double yikes! Its getting so close- I am so excited! G and I were discussing a travel ring for me the other day (so nothing bad happens to my wedding set on our honeymoon) and we had quite the difference of opinion about what I needed. He says just a simple silver band would be fine, but my thought is that there is no reason my travel ring can't be super fun, right? Right. So, here are some that I think I would love to rock while sipping rum drinks on a Jamaican beach- I let you know what we decide.

Fall Transitions

Happy Friday! Is it hot where all of you are? Cause it feels like an oven here in Texas. Blech. I'm so over it (as I'm hearing all of you are too...) So, to cheer myself up (because summer has a-ways to go) I popped over to my fave site to play grown-up paper dolls and made a little fall transitions wish list (most things from Anthropologie- I know you're shocked!) Those awesome Houlihan Cargos have been all over the interwebs, but I need an affordable version, so these Alloy skinny cargos fit the bill!

I'm also love-love-loving these two breezy blouses, I can wear them on their own now, and layer over long sleeve t's and under chunky sweaters when the temperatures dip. And how gorgeous is the navy feather print dress from Anthro? So cute year round (with flat sandals for summer and leather boots and a cardi for Fall.)

And yes, those are Uggs, and no, I don't care if you think they're lame, I want my tootsies to live in warm squishy comfort all winter thankyouverymuch.

Wear it Now & Later: Striped Knit Dress

Good Morning all! 
Like a lot of you guys out there, I am over summer. All it took was one glimpse of new fall boots to send me over the edge. I find myself daydreaming about yummy leather boots tucked into my dark skinnies and my other new fall obsession: the furry vest. Must. Have. I can picture it winterizing a lot of my flowy summer dresses, or warming up a basic jeans, t-shirt, flats ensemble. But, unfortunately, the heat in Texas can last well into October, so I have a ways to go before I can bust out my cold weather gear. In the meantime, I figure I can find ways to wear pieces for both seasons. Enter this adorable striped knit dress from Alloy. Its the perfect comfy staple for any season. I'll be pairing it with nude accessories for summer errands and cookouts (including the gorgeous Miu Miu replica platforms from Steve Madden, a cool snake cuff, and a gorgeous tan cross body bag.) For winter, I'll style it as a tunic with with dark skinnies tucked into Steve Madden's cult fave Intyce boots (want these so bad), the must-have fur vest, an adorable sparkly owl ring, and my newest bag craving, the Marc Jacobs Hillier Hobo in black. Hurry up fall!!!

Summer Wishlist

Its Wednesday, which means I am only 3 days away from my first ever bridal shower! I can't wait! It will be so much fun to see tons of friends and family, have lots of yummy brunch food and too many mimosas. Brunch is seriously one of my favorite things ever! Plus, I need a little fun after finding out today that my car has a warped head that has to be replaced to the tune of $1500. Sadface. Plus, our little boo Calvin had to go to the vet this morning with some unpleasant tummy issues. Not a fun night at the Price/Kreiling household! This also means that all of the gorgeous treats on my summer wishlist are taking a backseat to car repair and vet bills. I guess thats called being a grown-up, huh?

But just because I can't shop (right now) doesn't mean I can lust after these pretties...
