What do a ridiculous amount of pink pom poms, wearing a bra on the outside of your clothes, a home brew kit, man pedicures and margaritas have to do with each other? Thats pretty much our weekend in a nutshell.

Hello there pretties. Meet the two newest additions to my closet.  I headed to Nordi's looking for one dress for the wedding we will be attending in Key West next week and came home with two (this one and this one). I really couldn't decide between the two. I absolutley adore the bright fun prints! Don't you think the hubs should let me keep them both? Yeah, I think so too.

Happy Wednesday pretties! I have to say, its been a rough week for some of my favorite people in the whole world. I won't go in to it, but there have been the losses of some beloved pets and some health scares. Lots of praying going on in our home these days. But thats why I have a blog, by-golly. Because on this little blog of mine, I don't have to think about the hard stuff, and can pretend I live in a world full of limitless shopping budgets and calorie free ice cream. Well hello there bloggy land. I almost forgot about you. No, that's impossible. I've just been a little out of touch lately. But I'm back and finally posting some fun shots from the New Orleans Bachelorette party in May. We had so so so much fun. It was my first time there and I can't wait to go back! I loved the carriage rides, gorgeous architecture, fab shopping, Bourbon street, local weirdos, amazing food, good time with fun girls...I could go on and on...but I'll just let the photos do the talking, k?

3 Drowned Rats & A Skinny Girl

 

Ok, first of all, I cannot take credit for the title of this post. My cutie-pie friend Lindsey came up with it to describe the ridiculousness we endured to meet the adorable Bethenny Frankel, of Real Housewives and Skinnygirl Fame. She was is Dallas this past Friday to promote her Skinnygirl Margaritas. Our awesome boss let us sneak out of work early, even though he had no clue who we were going to see. Flash forward to about 500 girls (and a few guys) huddled under umbrellas in a downpour outside a liquor store. Classy, no? Yeah, we waited in the pouring rain for 2 hours, and only got to see Bethenny for about 10.3 seconds, but she was cute as a button (and waaaaaay tinier in person) and we totally had some girl bonding time. Love you Katherine and Lindsey! Oh, and Bethenny.
