Dear Husband...

 I am thankful everyday for the amazing man I married. The man who makes me giggle all the time, who gives me big bear hugs when I need them the most, who always does the dishes, who tells me all will be well, who takes me on amazing date nights, who is endlessly supportive & sweet, who shares ice cream with me in our PJs, who takes care of me when I don't feel well & who rolls over to cuddle me in the middle of the night and plays footsie with me under the covers...

Dopplegangers (1st Anniversary Gift)

Hello lovelies! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Its been a while since we celebrated our first wedding anniversary (it was back in September...) but I wanted to share the gift I gave the Hubs. The traditional gift for the 1st Anniversary is paper, so I was psyched to find these custom paper sculptures. (Actually, my sis-in-law found them on etsy and got one made for her hubs, and I totally stole her idea.) The lovely women at Indigo Twin do such beautiful work and can truly do anything you ask- I sent her pics of us, our dog and kitty and specifics like heights, hair and eye color, what we should be wearing and holding-a golf club for G and an Anthropologie shopping bag for me. Geoff loved them! Its such a fun little keepsake to celebrate our first yeart of wedded bliss. Head over to Indigo Twin on etsy and check them out. Its amazing how a going bachelorette party (and missing you for a whole weekend) can make your wife appreciate you even more. So so glad I married such an amazing man (and not some oogy creep who hangs around Burbon Street. But thats another story...)

10 reasons you're the bee's knees:

1. You sing me ridiculous morning wakeup songs. Such a peaceful way to wake up. ;)
2. You always laugh at my stupid jokes. And your jokes are just as stupid.
    Glad we can be totally ridiulous together.
3. You are totally metro-and I love that.
    Um, hair products and Nordstrom rack anyone?...
4. That you like to eat snacks and candy in even numbers. 3 M&M's? I don't think so. 
5. You are so cooperative to take my OOTD pics.
    Even when I yell at you for taking 38 pictures of the dog and only 2 of me...
6. Date night with you is my absolute favorite time of the week.
    Just you, me, giggling, and lots of nom nom nom.
7. You make me feel safe. And happy.
8. I'm pretty sure you are the most handsome man I've ever seen. With the best hair.
    And the cutest bum. (Sorry mom and Karen...)

(The Night We Met!)

Dear Husband...

Do you know how much I hate it when you have to go on business trips? I miss sleeping next to you- the bed always feels too big when you're gone. There is one thing I like though-when we have to talk on the phone and text all day without seeing each other, it reminds me of when we were first dating and we'd spend forever on the phone, talking and laughing. I don't miss the long distance dating, the driving back and forth, or the sad end-of-weekend goodbye's, but I do love remembering when were were first together.

And I still get butterflies when I'm picking you up at the airport.
Probably because you look so cute in your businessman clothes.
