Hi pretties! How was everyone's Thanksgiving? We had a blasty-blast spending 8 lovely days in Tucson with my out-laws. It was completely relaxing: lots of chatting, wine, naps, family walks in the sunshine, trips to the spa and, of course, a ton of food. Perfection. I'll share some pics of the trip tomorrow, but in the meantime, here is my carefully-planned Thanksgiving Day outfit. You see, I needed to look like I tried to dress up (ahem, no sweats) while still having on some sort of stretchy bottoms to accomidate the post-pig-out food baby. Yay for stretchy knit maxis! I managed not to look homeless while feeling like I was in my PJs. Bonus for a sweater the color of pumpkin pie- you totally couldn't tell when I dropped my dessert down my front. Score.

I'm so unbelievably thankful for all the blessings in my life: health, family, friends, my faith and my amazing husband. God is so good.

Happy thanksgiving lovelies!

Dear Husband...

Dear Husband...

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...

1. I love that you make even folding laundry funny.

2. I love that you share my sick obsession with brunch.

3. I love the way you baby talk to the Boo when you give him
a bath so he won't be sad...

4. Sometimes it doesn't work.

5. I love our family walks, talking about our future and how we
would redo our house and our favorite things...

There are too many things I love to count.

You really are the best.

Creamy Pumpkin Soup

My sweet sis-in-law brought this soup mix over as part of a housewarming gift and I have to tell you- it rocked our world. All you do is add some cream and a can of pumpkin and simmer for a bit- its easy peasy & all natural. I served it with bell peppers stuffed with quinoa, turkey, veggies & cheese- it was the perfect cold weather supper. Getcha some at World Market- you won't be sorry!
