Beauty isn't only skin deep

Yes, its true, its what's on the inside that counts, but why wrap a beautiful inside in a drab, yucky package. No thank you. Plus, I'm a girly girl, and can't get enough of fun makeup. On that note, my newest obsession is Makeup by Tiffany D. This self taught make up guru has her own blog and youtube channel devoted to all things beauty-her makeup tutorials are amazing! I consider myself ok in the application department- I'm not totally tragic when it comes to makeup, but Tiffany is truly a master and I am so glad she shares her knowledge with the rest of us. Check out her YouTube Channel (here) and her blog (here) for great tips, tricks, product reviews and some genius makeup looks.

On another note, we are headed to Lubbock tonight for my bridal shower tomorrow!

My wedding shoes FINALLY arrived. I ordered these thing like 4 months ago. Sheesh. Yes, they were a "pre-order" but honestly, I didn't think it would take this long. But the wait was sooooo worth it. I can't wait to strap these puppies on and head down the aisle!

Summer Wishlist

Its Wednesday, which means I am only 3 days away from my first ever bridal shower! I can't wait! It will be so much fun to see tons of friends and family, have lots of yummy brunch food and too many mimosas. Brunch is seriously one of my favorite things ever! Plus, I need a little fun after finding out today that my car has a warped head that has to be replaced to the tune of $1500. Sadface. Plus, our little boo Calvin had to go to the vet this morning with some unpleasant tummy issues. Not a fun night at the Price/Kreiling household! This also means that all of the gorgeous treats on my summer wishlist are taking a backseat to car repair and vet bills. I guess thats called being a grown-up, huh?

But just because I can't shop (right now) doesn't mean I can lust after these pretties...

I wanna be THIS organized!

I am a list maker for sure. I always have my pink leather planner and a couple of Moleskin Notebooks in my bag at all times, and even though my iPhone has plenty of list-making apps, I prefer to write them down and cross them off when complete. There's just something about a handmade list. I seriously thought I was pretty organized with all my list-making goodness, until I ran across The Project Girl. Um, Holy Organization Batman! Jenallyson, the smarty-pants behind this site, is a professional graphic designer that designs for scrapbooking paper company My Mind's Eye as well as digital files for two other companies. Her site is loaded with cute crafty ideas and free project downloads- everything from A Weekly Meal Plan (LOVE THIS!) to a food journal, weekly chores list and vacation packing chart. A Patriotic Look for Less

I spent a good amount of time this weekend shopping- I hit up Northpark and The Shops at Willow Bend for some goodies (and we shopped for Geoff's wedding suit-YAY!) Anthropologie at Northpark was packed- I guess it was all of the super cute sale stuff they had out. I was good and didn't pick up anything at Anthro (though my wishlist is growing rapidly...) but I did get a super cute Anthro-esque top at Forever 21. So excited! Check out the original Bouquet of Stripes Tee from Anthropologie, and the cute navy tank version that I am wearing today. I have been meaning to start posting my fave outfits, so I guess this is also my inaugural outfit post.
