Fashion Goodies: Megan Nielsen

As I was checking all my daily blog reads I clicked over to visit Jessica Schroeder at What I Wore. This is one of my fave daily fashion indulgences-everything she puts together is so dang cute! I am loving the new line by
Megan Nielsen that Jessica is blogging about today.
Jessica even did her lookbook-no wonder it is adorable. Check all her sweet pieces out right here.
Here is my fave piece from her collection: its the perfect girlie summer dress. Maybe I will win it!
Thank you for sharing Jessica and Megan!

Affordable, Beautiful Letterpress

Who doesn't love more letterpress goodness? I can't get enough! And while I have my heart set on it for our wedding invitations, it is definitely expensive! Which is why I was so pleased to receive an email about affordable letterpress from Trish Jackson of Ajalon Printing & Design. This charming family-owned shop, located in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country, has been crafting gorgeous designs for over 50 years. A green printer, they print on 100% recycled cotton paper and use soy based inks.

And they are affordable! Trish and her team are running a special:
100 letterpress invitations and enclosure cards for only $439!

Lovely designs, a talented team, eco-friendly, and a good deal?! Yes, please!
Visit Ajalon Printing & Designs to see all they have to offer and check out some of my fave designs...
Thank you Trish!

So many ways to describe the sheer gorgeousness of the vintage brooch bouquets from Fantasy Floral Designs! Brought to my attention by one of my daily wedding blog reads, The Ritzy Bee, these bouquets are the perfect way to incorporate family heirlooms and a bit of whimsy into your day. And, no wilting! Who doesn't want a bouquet that'll last forever?

Letterpress Love

Happy New Year all!!! I hope your break was as relaxing as mine was. As I was getting ready to head back to work this morning, it totally hit me: I am getting married THIS YEAR. Not in the distant future, not in a year from now...in nine months. Holy Guacamole! So exciting! But it also means the pressure is on and I've got to get in gear. On that note, I have started designing our save the dates and invitations-by far one of my fave things about wedding planning is designing the invites!! We have decided to go with Letterpress- a. because its environmentally friendly (as is our venue-see previous post!) and b. because I am a graphic design snob who has always wanted to do a letterpress project, but has never gotten to! So, as I dive into designing, please enjoy some of my favorite letterpress wedding invites for inspiration:

1. Bella Figura: An eco-friendly, wind powered press out of New York. Gorgeous designs!

2. Hello Lucky! Founded in 2003 by talented sisters Eunice and Sabrina Moyle, Hello Lucky! is a specialty letterpress printer and design studio that creates gorgeous wedding invitations and other paper goods. No wonder I love them-one of their clients is Anthropologie! Check out some of their gorgeous work below:
