Linoleum block printing has been around for centuries, but I have noticed, with the new resurgence of other ancient crafts, that it has become popular again- I absolutely love the simplicity and beauty of this technique. And, its easy to do at home! You just have to carve one block and then you're off- stamp it over and over to create gorgeous patterns. In, fact, you can find an online tutorial
here.
I can't wait to do some block printing on tea towels and maybe some pillow cases-or cards! Yay!
